*Unfortunately no under 18s can be taken on one of our kite courses. however if they are a minimum age of 16 and are accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times this is acceptable.
The day 2 of the course follows on exactly where you left off from your first day, concentrating more on the board riding aspect of kitesurfing you will quickly learn the board skills you need, this is where the day 1 course is essential as when the kite flying side of things becomes second nature learning to ride the board can be effortless
We run our Kitesurfing Lessons in Kent (Camber Sands) daily from 1st April – End of November. Kitesurfing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and you can learn to kitesurf with the most experienced kitesurfing team in the country. Our kitesurfing Lessons cater for all levels from the complete beginner to advanced tricks and kitesurfing slider clinics. Also this website has a hosts an on-line Forum for more info from local kitesurfers who have taken lessons with Surface2Air.
Here at Surface2Air (www.s2as.com) we have all IKO/ BKSA approved kitesurfing instructors which means you will be getting the latest and very best kitesurfing lessons.
The International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) is the international governing body and the British Kite Sports Association (BKSA) is the UK governing body. In order to meet there requirements all our kitesurfing instructors have to be properly trained in the appropriate water skills as well as first aid and many other relevant qualifications.
After each kitesurfing lesson you will be issued an IKO card which denotes the kitesurfing level you have achieved. These cards are becoming ever important as the kitesurfing sport grows, many worldwide destinations require you to have one of these cards before you are permitted to kitesurf off of the beach!
We teach all our kitesurfing lessons in the shallow and safe waters of Camber sands so you get to kite one of the uk's best locations.

Safe and easy - a long tidal reach creates 100s of metres of waste deep water, perfect for safe learning and risk-free trick progression.
There is plenty of room at Camber so we avoid the overcrowding suffered at many spots such as Poole, Brighton and Weymouth
Launching, landing and practicing is a lot nicer to do with sand between your toes.
Jury’s Gap car park, just beyond Camber to the east - parking is free and kiting allowed year round. Please note that this zone is the only area the council allow us to use for kitesurfing.
