Landyachtz R5 Longboard 2011
The R5 was designed by old school speed boarder Jody Wilcock, and it was designed for speed and stability.
To achieve the ultimate in stability the board features a Zero degree rear truck system. The angle of the tail, combined with a 40° truck mounted backwards, create a 0° truck. This means no steering in the back, all steering input comes from the front of the board, like a car.
10 plies of Canadian Maple, 2" of drop, deep concave with humps in the rear, acting like gas pedals pressed into the concave.
