For safe and comfortable excursions. The Ponit 65 Picnic GTE Rudder kayak is a day-boat, developed for paddlers who aim for shorter day tours and want a stable and easily maintained kayak for the whole family.
The Picnic Canoe offers a safe and comfortable platform to explore your favourite waters, observe wildlife, fish or take photos from. The hull shape is designed for stability, as well as manouverability and tracking wich makes it suitable for most waters - from coastal areas to lakes and rivers.
The Picnic Sea Kayak is available in a sturdy 3-layer polyethylene version (GTE 3L) and 2 different affordable 1-layer versions (GT and GTE). The 3-layer version provides a combination of strength, great stiffness and impact resistance that other materials simply can't match. The Picnic is the perfect choice for paddlers who don't want to worry about maintaining a glossy finish but simply want to get into the kayak and start having fun.
The 3-layer Picnic is equipped with an watertight compartment aft of the cockpit, as well as a recessed area for easier stowage of watertight bags. The recessed deck fittings accommodate a very clean deck rigging system with shock cords and ergonomically designed carrying handles. The GTE 3L version of the Picnic is equipped with an excellent retractable rudder from and rudder control system that allows for comfortable support, as well as strong steering efficiency.
The more affordable GT version can be ordered with an optional retractable rudder.
The cockpit is designed for easy entry and exit and is large enough to suit all types of paddlers. It is fitted with an ergonomically designed seat which provides great leg support and a comfortable paddling position.
