Xenon Laluz FEEL
Laluz has invariably been a high-end freestyle board that exceeds expectations. Every season we upgrade this incredible board, we aspire to remain true to its name. LaLuz (Light) is almost weightless and thus as comfortable to ride as it's physically possible. As for the performance - the board also will not disappoint even the harshest critics.
The new 2013 Laluz changed dramatically considering the construction of the board. Above all, the board obtained asymmetrical hybrid laminate. Whereas, the 2012 model was covered in fibre glass and strengthened with carbon-kevlar stringers, the new model of Laluz has especially redesigned area under the rider's heels. The part of the laminate on the heelside is made of 100% carbon which results in an even more dynamic and aggressive feeling without compromising the inherent features of Laluz which are comfort, ease of usage and invariable pleasure coming from every session. To increase the durability of the board the new top material sheet was applied – the base became mat.
The only change to the size range is that the smallest board (129) is 1cm wider to make it more versatile and more comfortable to ride for the lightest kiters.
The 2013 accessories are truly refreshed and, what is more, underwent slimming. The profile of the strap has been redesigned so that it is more comfortable and 25% lighter than the predecessors. The neoprene coat has been covered with non-skid, silicone pattern and now the grip is like never before.
Additionally, the riders can now choose between two sizes of straps to better fit their feet. S/M for those with size below 40 (US 7,5) and L/XL for bigger sizes or for riding in boots.
The pads are made of new, lighter sandwich type construction. Thanks to the bonding of multiple layers of different EVA foams, the pads ensure the highest comfort and amortization, providing full control over the board at the same time. You'll also be pleased to know that they weigh 40% less than the 2012 model.
To maximize the grip, the pads are covered in multi-directional, mat, non-skid pattern and what is essential, they will be as good as new after a thousand pops and landings.
The riders who like experimenting or have a specific preference will appreciate possibility of multi angle adjustment set-ups of pads and straps.
