The Sonic Progression gives the best combination of freeride fun in lightwind conditions while maintaining the smooth and playful characteristics of a normal twintip. The Progression composite construction instills confidence for entry-level users, and offers a robust construction. Perfect for those starting out and a school environment.
The Multi-zone Biotech construction, a vertical Paulownia wood core sandwich, creates a consistent density from the natural material allowing for a predictable and responsive ride.
The Progression range of twintips feature an ABS rail and matte PBT base to make sure that your board can handle impact through various stages of progression.

ABS REINFORCED INSERTS
No more pulled or broken inserts from hard landings or crashes. Featured on all Airush boards, the ABS reinforced inserts create the ultimate amount of durability whether riding with boots or straps.
MULTIZONE BIOTECH CORE
The Airush Multizone Biotech Construction is a vertical paulownia wood core sandwich. This multilayer construction creates a consistent density from the natural material. Our wood cores are renowned for their response, durability and smoothness, and are combined with a versatile combination of laminates depending on each model’s requirement, for all-round performance and durability.
SIX FIN CONFIGURATION
The Sonic is kitted with 6 fins. Allowing the rider to either ride the board with a traditional 4 fin set-up or a 6 fin configuration, adding 2 more fins to the heal side edge. The extra 2 fins allow for better rail control and upwind performance in very light winds.
The optional 6 fin configuration makes the Sonic one of the most versatile light wind boards on the market.
LOW LIGHT-WIND ROCKER LINE
This rocker is our flattest rocker specifically designed for lightwind riding. This rocker makes sure the board starts planning in incredibly light wind and results in reduced drag between the board’s base and the water surface.
FMS FLEX RATING | 5.5
Airush introduced FMS rating as the first brand to quantify how much a twintip flexes. Instead of the good old “feel” test, which can be very deceptive due to the impact of the length on the overall stiffness, FMS takes into account the board’s length and deflection. A lower rating indicates a softer board more suited to freeride, while higher-rated stiffer boards are more suited to freestyle.
AK BOOST FOOTSTRAPS
Simplicity, comfort, and durability are the primary focuses of the Boost Strap. With a single Velcro closure, the strap is quick and easy to tighten and loosen for various foot sizes with or without booties.
The Boost Strap features a Dual Density footbed, which is molded with a soft layer that contours to your foot shape, while the denser secondary layer absorbs the impact from monster landings.
The Boost Strap offers two size options to fit the smallest to the largest foot. Please contact us at S2AS for your preference
