Peter Lynn Aero V2 Kitesurf Foil Kite Now Available From S2AS

The Aero v2 is a closed cell depower foil that is faster on every tack and it allows you to ride at unreal speeds and angles. It fills up quicker and accelerates faster. It launches effortlessly and gets you up to speed easier than ever before. The Aero v2 is designed to be the ultimate super GT amongst race kites. It combines blistering pace and acceleration with rider oriented responsiveness, dynamic handling, and unmatched stability. The Aero is built to open the door to a new level of engagement between rider and wing.

CHARACTERISTICS

LARGE WINDRANGE

Built with only high tech, ultra light weight materials the Aero V2 performs in the lightest of breezes, yet it's sophisticated design and large depower range assure you remain in control when the wind picks up. Feel in control, always.

DIMENSIONALLY STABLE

Fully depowered on the bar and cleat, almost only supported by the A bridles, the kite stays in shape and in the air and this stability directly translates into acceleration and forward speed. Next to that it allows the kite to gently drift along during those long and smooth downwind turns.

RAZORSHARP UPWIND DRIVE

Designed with racing in mind the Aero is tuned as sharp as possible without sacrificing stability. Positioned at the edge of the wind window the kite delivers thrilling speed and an hard matched upwind drive.

RACING TO THE PODIUM

Competitions are no match against the Aero V2. Top of the line when it comes to all kinds of racing, whether it be hydro-foiling around Caribbean islands, snowkiting in the toughest and coldest conditions, or buggying on muddy shores. The Aero V2 will always make you speed through the finish line and end up on the podium.

BREAKING THE BENCHMARK

There is always room for improvement. We are always challenging current technologies and looking for ways to improve upon what is already there. Since the dawn of traction kiting we have been coming up with clever ideas to make your kiting experiences better, and rather than looking at the competition we have always relied on our own 4 decades of design experience.

In our quest to build the best, every detail counts. No matter how small, each design element has been purposefully tuned to strike the perfect balance between performance and refinement. Every panel, every bridle line and every internal rib has been meticulously shaped and measured to fit its function and vastly improve the kites aerodynamic properties. From the technologically innovative leading edge to the mini ribs along the trailing edge, every aspect of the wing breathes out-and-out performance. While the clever construction and high-quality materials offer unmatched durability.

The Aero V2 has been designed for speed. Whether on racetrack, light wind ride or everyday cruise, its comfortably balanced bar pressure allows you to stay out longer and push your riding experiences to new heights.

BRIDLE TUNING

The Peter Lynn Aero V2 is designed for maximum performance, but like in all high performance sports the equipment must be checked regularly to ensure it performs to the desired standards. The Aero V2's speed system should be properly maintained and the bridle should be replaced every 50 to 60 hours depending on the intensity of use. Information on how to tune your kite and all bridle measurements can be found in the Bridle and Speedsystem tuning guide.

IMPORTANT NOTES

WATER RELAUNCH

The Aero is water re-launchable. Its closed cell construction and coated UL fabrics keep water out and the air in. It is recommended to practice this in shallow water before venturing deeper. Better still would be to keep it in the air at all times! Do not use in waves.

FLAG OUT SAFETY

To guarantee your safety the Aero features the proven and trusted industry standard flag out system. It is recommended to check bridle lines, pulleys and the speed system for possible tangles before re-launching.

CARE FOR MATERIALS

Like any performance specific gear it is built out of extremely light weight materials which are more prone to damaging and/or stretching. While we have chosen only the highest quality materials it is still necessary to carefully maintain the kite, special attention should be paid to the bridling and speed system.

ADVANCED SKILL REQUIREMENT

The Aero is an easy to use high performance foil, it does however require insight on how to fly these types of kites to prevent potentially dangerous situations. Even if you have the skills required, do not fly in weather conditions that are unpredictable or dangerous, like offshore winds and/or (thunder)storms.
